16. Le Garage Biarritz Hotel, France
In 2007, three friends from Paris who knew each other since they were kids and had traveled together a lot, decided to start something called the Experimental Group. They began by making great cocktails. Then, in 2015, they expanded to making hotels too. One of their coolest places is Le Garage, a beach resort in France. It has a fancy old-fashioned design and is located right by the beach, with awesome Basque bars nearby.
The Experimental Group is the team behind it, and they hired their favorite designer, Dorothée Meilichzon, to make the 27 rooms look really cool. They like to keep things light and fun, just like the waves at Le Garage.
