11. Mickleham Village Hotel, Surrey
Beaverbrook, a fancy hotel near Leatherhead, is really luxurious, just like you’d expect from the former home of Max Beaverbrook. He was a big shot in the media, a politician during wartime, and he loved to party with famous people like Elizabeth Taylor, Winston Churchill, and Rudyard Kipling.
This year, they’re making the hotel even fancier by adding 21 new rooms and a big five-bedroom party house. It’s just a short ride from the main part of the hotel in a quiet place called Mickleham in Surrey Hills.
The people in charge of making the hotel look amazing, Frank Lowe and Nicola Harding, are going to make the new rooms extra special. And guests staying in Mickleham will have their own swimming pool, a small spa, and a restaurant. Plus, they can use all the cool stuff at Beaverbrook’s main place too.
