20) Glass Beach – California, USA
It’s great to see a beautiful beach with white sand, but Glass Beach in California is just as amazing. Instead of regular sand, this beach is covered in colorful pieces of glass. Glass Beach is located near MacKerricher State Park and the small city of Fort Bragg.
This beach is different from others because it was formed over time by people throwing garbage, especially glass, onto the shore in various spots. As the years went by, the glass broke into tiny pieces and became smooth, creating three “Glass Beaches” near the city. These beaches are filled with colorful glass, resembling a kaleidoscope.
